Rama - Addition

When a family gets too big it needs a bigger house, when the family become two families they need an in-law suite. 1200 sq Ft of kitchen bathrooms, bedrooms and living rooms makes for quite an addition, almost a home away from home.

Day 6 - When the concrete won't go around a corner, you just have to go over the top


Days 9 - Framing has started... starting to look like a home away from home


Days 14 - Even in the rain at night we make progress... lots of wet wood



Days 19 - The framing is almost finished, two more days and on with electrical and plumbing



Days 28 - It is now weathertight, the siding has started, the plumbing and electrical too

Days 38 - The electrical and plumbing are almost finished, two more days and then we can insulate


Days 48 - Plumbing, electrical, insulation and blue board is finished... plaster and paint to go, almost finished


Days 58 - The kitchen is almost finished, the plaster looks great. Paint, trim and flooring, and they can move in



Days 63 - Counter tops are coming, outside is a day away from finish and we still need just a lick of paint


Days 68 - The colors are great, the rim is finished, counter tops and floor and a couple of loose ends and its moving time


Days 88



Days 100 - Project complete.


Days 103 - It's painted and all is good.
