The deck for this home was constructed entirely from limber felled on the property and cut at a local saw mill. It comprises a 48ft x 10ft front porch with hand cut steps carved from whole trees, and entrance way. At the front and rear are two 10ft wide hand cut pine stairs, used to access the sunroom. The sun room was built from a maple frame of whole trees exposed internally to 50% of their diameter and the floor and waines coating up to 7 ft X 4ft sliding windows is again from the property. This room is 14 x 22 with a vaulted ceiling and offers paneramic views of the rear of the property. Access to the house is through french doors into the dining room. The project added over 600ft of covered deck in front and to the side, for a total of almost 1000ft added.
